Dear Nesting,

I looked at my creepy floating baby on the sidebar of this blog today to see that I have 50 days until the due date of my child.
50 days.
50 short, little, minuscule days.
And that is all.
So I am writing you Nesting, in hopes that you will come visit. Because as of today I am zero percent prepared for He Who Cannot Be Named. (With the exception of the two pictured outfits purchased by my overly excited daughter). And as of today I am less than zero percent motivated to help the preparation process along.
Also dear Nesting, if you happen to run into Nausea (or Morning Sickness as some people call her) tell her I can get along fine without her and to find someone else to grace her presence with. I've had my share of time with her and don't want to keep her all to myself. I am selfless like that.

Can I nest for you, seems like that is the easiest part. I've seen some adorable baby boy stuff. Porter is a super cute name. I like it!

before you are so quick to chase away pregnancy, just remember. . .

you will then trade midnight trips to the bathroom for early morning visits to the bassinet. an exploding stomach for an exploding chest. puking for pushing. and heartburn for heartaches.

oh nesting. it will come. it always does. and after having a new one for an entire week without a name - i get it. but that too will come. and as far as morning sickness. only 50 days left my friend.

hang in there. but enjoy it while it's here. it is your last. (or so you think!)

This may sound sick, but your little post almost makes me want to be pregnant again....someday. The cute outfits, the excited kids, and oh the nesting. That is one of my very favorite parts. And is Porter a name you like or is someone else trying to name your child? For what it's worth, I love the name. It's adorable.

50 days? Holy crud. That's amazing. That Nesting better come and find you.

I know too well how you feel. I personally would like to write my own letter to "Dear Baby Blubber on My Bum". It seems to have found me MUCH quicker than the last pregnancy!
