Sometimes I sleep deeply.
Sometimes I sleep so deeply that I don't hear their footsteps thundering up the stairs
Sometimes I sleep so deeply that I don't hear my children's little feet patting into my room.
Sometimes I just open my eyes to find them staring down at me in creepy silence.
And then sometimes I think my kids are evil.
For just a second.

That is so creepy and frightening. I have done it many times and now my kids know to make a little more noise if they don't want to hear Mom scream.

sometimes i like to pretend i am asleep and then wait til they are at the edge of my bed and then open my eyes really big and say RAAR!
