I wasn't able to crack open the book until Sunday afternoon but since then it has stayed in the open position. For those of you who haven't read the books, know that I don't think these are the best books ever written by many miles. I am just this way about finishing a story. Trust me. This isn't even on my list of favorite books. I just want to know the ending before someone spoils it for me. So, what have I been doing since then?
Sunday night - Read until 2 am, (I had to get to a good stopping point)
Monday - woke up at 6am so I could read
cleaned the bathroom
did some dishes
sat down to read.
read
read
made breakfast for children while trying to read
read
cleaned up breakfast
read
one child came to tell me she threw up (it was in the toilet and due to a nagging cough and a very sensative gag reflex, lucky me.)
read while massaging afore mentioned child's back.
read
played a board game
read
made lunch
read
cleaned up lunch
put monster to bed
played battleship
read
stopped at chapter 29 (page 554) because I need a break.
The funny thing about this book and all the others in the series?
That I continue to read them, although Bella BUGS THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF ME.
No offense to anyone who feels differently.
Gotta go, I have another 200 pages until I start being a mother again.
(I SO should not be allowed to read.)
What are your progress reports?

ok, let me just say that i am the first to comment, because all the other edward lovers are reading! just kidding! but seriously, i never am the first! i promise, one day in the near future i will read these books, but. . . after harry!
Whew. I just finished about an hour ago. I REALLY liked this one. I think it's my favorite of the 4. Bella was really irritating me too. She didn't bother me so much in the other books, but I think I finally got sick of her. That changed for me toward the middle though. I was ticked off when I saw the Jacob perspective part, but it was actually a nice change from Bella.
Progress Report: I haven't even cracked the first book. Gasp, I know. I think I know all the storylines now, anyway, listening to others talk about it.
I'm glad your liking it though.
My sweet husband bought the book as a gift to me yesterday, so I am only on chapter 7, but loving every word of it. I was hoping to buy it on itunes, but it isn't available yet. I have to go to a work meeting today, so it is really going to crap my reading schedule.
I agree - NOT my favorite story by far, but I'm addicted to reading and have to finish a story, too, which explains why I read her "Host" book....I shouldn't have even read the first chapter. That's why I can wait a couple days/weeks/months to borrow the book from the library or a friend (or a great sister-in-law :)
are you still reading??? i haven't heard from ya since I got back.. or are kids still throwing up!!! :)
I'm only like on page 150... does it get so good????
You are not alone, Bella is annoying.
I need to start Harry Potter one of these days but I am with you on the reading while being responsible for small children, it isn't easy.
